Echeveria Dark Moon is a bold, moody rosette succulent known for its deep burgundy to nearly black coloration. Its rich, dramatic tones intensify with bright light, creating a striking contrast against lighter succulents and adding depth to any arrangement.

This variety forms a tight, symmetrical rosette with thick, fleshy leaves that gently curve inward, giving it a sculpted, dimensional look. The smooth, matte finish enhances its dark coloration, making it a standout piece in both mixed trays and individual displays.

Key Features:

• Deep burgundy to dark purple coloring
• Tight, symmetrical rosette shape
• Thick, sculpted leaves
• Dramatic contrast in arrangements
• Compact and ideal for 2-inch pots

Each plant is carefully selected and packaged to ensure it arrives healthy and ready to enjoy.

A striking rosette perfect for collectors who love bold color and strong visual impact.

Succulent Care Guide from Ramsey Succulents

1. Light:

Succulents thrive in bright, indirect light. Aim for 6 hours of sunlight daily. If growing indoors, a south-facing window works best. Rotate regularly to ensure even growth.

2. Water:

Water sparingly—typically every 2-4 weeks. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Overwatering is the most common cause of issues, so when in doubt, water less!

3. Soil:

Plant succulents in well-draining soil. If repotting, use cactus or succulent mix to prevent root rot.

4. Temperature:

Succulents prefer 60-80°F (15-27°C). Avoid extreme cold, as most are sensitive to frost. Do not grow outdoors if weather gets below 35 degrees.

5. Pot:

Make sure the pot has drainage holes. Good drainage is essential to avoid water accumulation.

My succulents came wonderfully packed for transit. Succulents were on the bottom with numerous paper shreds to keep them safe. They weren't labeled, which made figuring out which was which a little difficult without sun stress.
I believe this is the echeveria "dark moon," and I'm excited to watch it grow!
