Echeveria 'Lime n' Chile' also known as Echeveria 'Lime n' Chili' is a very bright beautiful succulent that has frosty lime-green leaves that offsets prolifically to form clusters that are very attractive. On its leaves it has a powdery substance known as farina, which helps prevent this succulent from sun damage. The leaves are slightly variegated and will produce red tips if the succulent is getting enough full sun. This succulent will also produce inflorescences at least four or five of them, and they will grow to be gold or pink bell-shaped flowers. This succulent is great for your indoor or outdoor succulent garden, also great for rock gardens, and succulent arrangements.

Echeveria 'Lime n' Chile' Care

Echeveria 'Lime n' Chile' will need 6 hours of full sun every single day. It needs this amount so it can produce its beautiful bright colors and so it can avoid etiolation. Also make sure to give it partial shade so it can take a break from the sun and avoid sun damage. 

Echeveria 'Lime n' Chile' isn't cold hardy, so make sure to avoid growing it in freezing temperatures and frost. If the weather in your location gets under 30 degrees then it's best to move and grow this succulent indoors. This will protect this succulent from dying due to frost and cold weather. 

Echeveria 'Lime n' Chile' will need fast/well draining succulent soil. This will help prevent overwatering and root rot. Fast/well draining succulent soil is much needed for this succulent and most succulents. It's also important to use a succulent pot with a drainage hole. This will allow water to drain out the bottom of the pot, preventing overwatering and root rot. 

Water the Echeveria 'Lime n' Chile' 1-2 days a week or when the soil looks or feels very dry. It's important that you do not overwater this succulent, overwatering will lead to root rot. Lookout for under watering and overwatering symptoms. Be sure to keep track of the exact last time you watered this succulent.

Avoid getting water on the leaves of this succulent. If water gets on the leaves then there's a chance that a fungus will grow on them. This will cause the leaves to fall of in the soil which will attract succulent pests such as mealybugs.

Echeveria 'Lime n' Chile' Propagation:

You can propagate the Echeveria 'Lime n' Chile' with cuttings or leaves. Gently cut some leaves or cuttings off with some clippers, then wait 2-4 days for a callus to form. Once a callus forms then go ahead and plant the leaves or cuttings in fast/well draining succulent soil. Water 1-3 days a week and grow in shade for the first week then move to full sun after that.
