It has gorgeous fuzzy red tipped, lush green leaves with also a coating on them called farina, used to protect this succulent from sun damage. It's a fast growing succulent that will grow up to 10" tall and spread to 15" wide. It will also produce beautiful orange bell-shaped flowers that grow fairly large. It's a very durable succulent that can easily tolerate full sun, but it should also receive some partial shade.

Make sure to give it some partial shade so it can take a break from the sun and avoid sun damage.
Echeveria Harmsii 'Ruby Slippers' isn't cold hardy, so frost and freezing temperatures will harm and kill this succulent. It's very important that you just move and grow it indoors during the cold winter season. If the weather in your location gets under 30 degrees then it will need to be grown indoors to avoid the frost and freezing temperatures.
Fast/well draining succulent soil is much needed when growing the Echeveria Harmsii 'Ruby Slippers'. Fast/well draining succulent soil will help prevent overwatering which then leads to root rot, a very deadly disease for succulents. Let the cuttings or leaves sit out for 2-4 days or until the callus forms. Once the callus forms then go ahead and plant the leaves or cuttings in fast/well draining succulent soil.
