Echeveria 'Neon Breakers' Care:

Echeveria 'Neon Breakers' is very easy to grow and care for. This succulent will need to be grown in bright direct sunlight getting at least 6 hours of sunlight every single day. 6 hours is very important for preventing etiolation and for this succulent to produce its beautiful bright colors. This succulent isn't cold hardy and it must avoid freezing temperatures and frost. If you live in an area that gets under 30 degrees, then move this succulent indoors. This will allow it to survive from the cold freezing frost and weather.

Echeveria 'neon breakers' should be grown using fast/well draining succulent soil. Fast/well draining succulent soil is very important, it simply helps preventing root rot and overwatering. If you don't use fast/well draining succulent soil and water sits in the soil for several days, then nasty mold and bacteria will occur. Your 'neon breakers' will end up with root rot if you simply don't use fast/well draining succulent soil. It's also very important to use a succulent pot with a drainage hole. This is very important as well because the excess water will drain out the bottom of the pot keeping the soil dry preventing it from overwatering.

You should water your echeveria 'neon breakers' 1-2 days a week or when the soil looks or feels very dry. Avoid overwatering and underwatering, overwatering symptoms would be mushy leaves, and underwatering symptoms would be dry/wrinkled leaves. If the soil feels very dry then go ahead and water your neon breakers succulent.

Echeveria 'Neon Breakers' Propagation:

Echeveria 'neon breakers' can be propagated by stem cuttings, leaves, seeds, and offsets. Before you begin propagation you must let your leaves or cuttings form a callus before planting. Let the leaves or cuttings sit out for about 2-4 days and you will see a callus form. Once the callus forms go ahead and plant the leaves and cuttings in fast/well draining succulent soil. Water 2-3 days a week and give it 4-6 hours of sunlight. For more information on how to propagate succulents check out our article for a step-by-step guide.
