Let’s dive in

Repot In A Bigger Pot/Planter

When you buy succulents from your local nursery or online with 3 day shipping, have you noticed your succulents roots coming out of the pots? If so, that is because your succulent roots are begging for more space and a new home! This could be a reason why your succulents are growing so slow.

Most succulents want to grow, and they want to grow quickly and large. In order for succulents or any type of plant to grow large, you need to plant them outside or in a large pot or planter. The more space you have for succulents roots, the bigger and faster the roots will expand, the faster your succulent plant will grow.

It’s very important to make sure your succulent plant has enough room for its roots to grow and expand. Without enough room you’re basically telling the plant that it can’t grow any larger than what it wants to do because of the very little space for it. Bigger pots will also make your succulents grow bigger.

With that being said, we recommend starting slow. What do we mean? We mean slowly work your way up. If you bought succulents in 2 inch pots, then try repotting them in a 4 inch pot to give them room. As it keeps growing, re-pot it in another bigger pot so it’s roots can continue to expand and your succulent will continue to grow.

Give your Succulent Enough Space

Yes Succulents love being next to other succulents, in fact they are some of the only plants that truly love company! Be careful tho because if you want your succulent to grow faster then you’re going to have to be a little selfish and possibly grow it alone or next to only about 2 other succulents.

Why does your succulent need enough space? Simply because of root battle! If you have 5 succulents in a nice size pot, it won’t matter how big the pot is. There’s 5 succulents with roots all battling to grow and expand competing with each other.

Each plant will fight for root space trying to make as many nutrients as possible. Unfortunately, this will slow down the growth of all your succulents in that one pot. No, your succulents won’t die. They will continue to live and look beautiful, but they will stop growing and stay neutral.

Remember some succulents are more dominant than others! One will try to take over the whole pot because it’s aggressive and dominant.

So yes, if you want to truly grow your succulents faster, then you really do need to give it enough space, and less competition.

We recommend just planting 1 succulent in 1 nice size pot, or just the max of 3 succulents so they all have a chance to grow faster, and bigger!

Use Well-Draining Succulent Soil

In order to grow succulents faster, your succulents must be grown in well-drained succulent soil. Well-drained succulent soil is much needed when wanting to grow succulents faster. It will protect it from overwatering and of course root rot. Well-drained succulent soil will keep the soil dry at a very fast rate, which will prevent overwatering and prevent the most common killer of succulents known as 'root rot'.

We recommend using 'Ramsey Succulent Soil'

Ramsey Succulent Soil has ingredients such as perlite, sand, and seaweed. Perlite and sand are known as the best ingredients out there if you want your soil well-drained. The perlite and sand will soak up all the excess water that your succulent does not need, preventing the soil from staying soaking wet for several days. So yes, Ramsey Succulent Soil will prevent mold/bacteria and root rot (the #1 most common reason why a succulent will die) simply because there will be no excess water.

That's not all tho.

What makes Ramsey Succulent Soil arguably the best are the nutrients that's in the soil. These nutrients will help your succulents grow bigger, faster, and healthier.

Ramsey Succulent Soil has seaweed fertilizer, which has 60 trace minerals and nutrients. Yes, your succulents will be absorbing 60 trace minerals and nutrients. This will make your succulents grow bigger, faster, and healthier without a doubt. Compared to other succulent soil, this succulent soil will make a huge huge difference for your plants. Separate Offsets From Mother Plants

As your succulents continue to grow, they will produce something called “offsets”. Offsets are new plants growing on the main succulent plant, taking up space. Offsets also use the nutrients from soil to grow, so basically they are stealing nutrients from the main plant so they can grow faster and larger as well.

Offsets can be beautiful, yet if you want your main succulent to grow faster then you will have to remove them.

Simply remove them by using clippers, and plant them elsewhere! Some people like offsets, I mean why not? Extra succulents you get for free! They are very lovely, and most people keep them, but if you want your 1 succulent plant to grow faster, and bigger you have no choice but to remove them.

Keep Your Succulents Safe/Spread Positive Vibes

The last tip I have for you is to simply keep your succulents safe, and also spread positive vibes to them. Grow them in a safe environment, such as indoors, or outdoors in a very safe spot where nothing is bothering, or harming them.

The safer they feel the faster, bigger, healthier, and prettier your succulent will grow. It has to feel very comfortable, and safe. Like all plants, they don’t want to be bothered or annoyed. They want to just feel safe, and loved.

This sounds crazy but seriously talk to your succulents. As you're watering them talk to them saying “you’re going to grow fast and large”. They seriously want to hear encouragement like that, a little bit of hearing positivity will help your succulents grow faster.
